Join us at our Fourth Annual Fundraiser and community event at Rotary Park in Ouray on Sunday, September 19 for a fun day of climbing clinics, free walk-up climbing for kids and adults, delicious music, giveaways, climbing comp and live music by You Knew Me When.
Here is the schedule of the events:
10am-2pm Climbing Clinics courtesy of Peak Guides (All proceeds go to OCA, please don’t forget to tip your guide)
10am-4pm Walk-up Climbing FREE (all ages and abilities)
12pm Online Auction Closes
2pm-4pm Ouray OPEN Climbing Competition (Please see rules here)
4pm-7pm BBQ and Music by You Knew Me When – free to OCA members, or you can join or renew your membership at the event ($25 for individuals, $40 for families includes food/drinks/OCA logo stainless steel reusable cup)
5pm Award Ceremony
BYO Cup, Plate and Utensils to reduce waste – earn a raffle ticket ($5 value).

All clinics are thought by AMGA-certified guides and instructors and are only $20/person. All proceeds from clinics go directly to the Ouray Climbers Alliance (you are welcome and encouraged to tip your guide). For more info and register please visit Peak Guides Registration Page.
Clinic 1: Intro to Rock
This clinic has no prerequisites and is a great way to climb for a few hours while getting advice on the basics.
Clinic 2: Learn to Lead
This clinic will focus on the skills and tools needed to lead sport climbs.
Clinic 3: How to Climb 5.12
Participants should be prepared to get worked! We’ll mostly climb 5.10 and 5.11 to work the the skills needed to progress to harder grades.
